The Noorderzon Festival of Performing Arts & Society, a unique blend of an international art festival and a grand summer celebration, is back for its 34th edition from August 22nd to September 1st, 2024. Held in Noorderplantsoen park in Groningen, this festival offers a rich program of theatre, dance, music, literature, and more. With performances in tents, outdoor stages, and various inner-city locations (Noorderzon DownTown), it's a rich cultural week of activities for over 135,000 visitors.
This year, Noorderzon brings international companies to the Netherlands, showcasing new and adventurous works by leading artists and fresh talents. The festival invites you to experience overwhelming theatre, engaging conversations, and dance under the stars as you toast the end of summer.
The first program announcements have been made, and tickets are now live! You can purchase tickets online through noorderzon.nl/programme. Tickets remain available online until the performance starts, allowing last-minute purchases via your phone. Payment options include iDEAL and credit cards (Visa and Mastercard).
