Today, Saturday 21st, the eighth edition of Museum Night will light up Groningen's city centre, with seven museums opening their doors until after midnight. Attendees can enjoy a diverse mix of exhibitions, music, theatre, dance, and interactive workshops. The participating museums include Museum aan de A, Groninger Museum, Forum Groningen, the Synagogue, University Museum, Noorderlicht, and GRID Graphic Museum.

With its rich program, Museum Night has become a staple event in the city, attracting a broad international audience. Highlights include a Rainbow Route between museums, a dragon dance at the Groninger Museum, and performances like drag bingo and silent poetry techno aerobics. Two historic ships will shuttle guests between venues, adding spoken word and poetry to the journey.

In previous years, the event has drawn over 3,500 visitors, and it continues to sell out annually. This year’s program promises another unforgettable experience with an eclectic mix of cultural offerings for all tastes. Buy the tickets here.
