Man Injured in Stabbing at Westerhaven, Suspect Arrested

A man was injured in a stabbing incident early Friday morning, May 2, near the Astraat and Westerhaven area in Groningen. The stabbing occurred shortly before 5:00 a.m.
Emergency services responded quickly, and the injured man was taken to the hospital by ambulance. His condition has not been made public.
Soon after the report, police arrested a suspect in the nearby Peperstraat. He was taken to the police station for questioning. The investigation is ongoing, and the motive behind the stabbing is still unclear.
